FLUIDOS in two panels at EUCEI’s Open Continuum Final Conference
We are thrilled to announce that Fulvio Risso, the technical coordinator of FLUIDOS, will be participating in two panels at the EUCEI’s Open Continuum Final Conference. This significant event, marking the culmination of our collaborative efforts in the cloud-edge-IoT domain, will take place on 18 June 2024 at The Claridge in Brussels. Join us to celebrate our achievements and chart the path forward for continued innovation and collaboration.
Event overview
The Open Continuum Final Conference will focus on the value of the EUCloudEdgeIoT.eu (EUCEI) community research for the industry, highlighting the latest advancements and results of the Open Continuum CSA and the more than 50 research and innovation actions(RIAs) that it has supported. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in engaging panel discussions, hear about the transition to the Nexus Forum CSA, and learn about the current status of the Unlock CEI CSA use cases. The conference will also feature an awards ceremony recognizing the most promising projects within our community.
FLUIDOS’s scheduled participation
1. Panel “Standards and Open Source” – Moderated by Antonio Kung
Fulvio will present the most notable contributions to standards and open-source, namely:
- the FLUIDOS node and policy-based multi-objective orchestrator,
- the FLUIDOS extensions to the Liqo.io open-source software and
- the REAR (REsource Advertisement and Reservation) protocol.
2. Panel on MetaOS – Moderated by Golboo Pourabdollahian
Fulvio will present the FLUIDOS open-source orchestration and reasoning solution, which includes methods to build, orchestrate, monitor, and evolve the computing continuum and the services within. This solution is characterised by strong security features and energy/carbon awareness.
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in vibrant discussions with Fulvio and our participating experts, and the project will further be showcased with a rollup banner as part of a cluster exhibition.
