FLUIDOS sponsoring the workshop “A Glimpse of Europe Innovation” in Helsinki
FLUIDOS was excited to sponsor and participate in the Workshop “A Glimpse of Europe Innovation” held on May 28, 2024, in Helsinki, Finland. The workshop was hosted by SESKO Electrotechnical Standardization in Finland and it was organised alongside the international committee meeting of ISO/IEC JTC 1 SC 41 and co-organised by AIOTI and OpenContinuum. The workshop provided an extensive platform for discussing ongoing standardisation efforts in Internet of Things (IoT) and digital twins, featuring insights from prominent projects across Europe.
The event kicked off with a presentation by François Coallier, Chair of ISO/IEC JTC 1 SC 41, who outlined significant standardisation projects and their impact on the IoT and smart systems sectors.
FLUIDOS, along with other major European projects, was highlighted for its innovative contributions to standardisation in the CEI based on REAR.
A special segment of the workshop was dedicated to exploring enablers and use cases for the computing continuum. FLUIDOS representatives took part in detailed discussions, presenting the project’s role in advancing cloud-to-edge computing technologies.
The workshop facilitated a rich exchange of ideas, enhancing collaboration among industry experts and fostering advancements in IoT and digital twin technologies.
The event concluded with a social dinner, providing participants an excellent opportunity for networking and further discussions about future innovations and collaborations.
This workshop not only enhanced FLUIDOS’ visibility within the European innovation ecosystem but also emphasised the project’s commitment to contributing to essential standardisation activities and technological advancements.
