FLUIDOS presented its third TechTalk on July 8th, featuring the paper “AI-driven Workload Management in Meta OS” by Stefano Braghin, Liubov Nedoshivina and Killian Levacher from IBM. The paper, initially unveiled at Eurosys 2024 during the 1st International Workshop on MetaOS for the Cloud-Edge-IoT Continuum (MECC 2024), introduces a novel AI-based approach to enhance resource allocation and fulfill user-defined service levels efficiently. The research highlights the application of advanced AI capabilities to dynamically manage workloads, demonstrating significant improvements over traditional methods through rigorous testing on both synthetic and real-world datasets.
